Senator Miguel del Valle, sponsor of SB 813, and Andrea Raila testified before the Senate Revenue Committee. SB 813 passed both the Senate and House.

SB 813 extended the time taxpayers could make "omitted assessment" payments. An "omitted assessment" notification by the Assessor means that the Assessor's staff failed to assess all improvements (secondary buildings, garages, huts, fences, etc.) on a parcel through no fault of the property owner.
